High precision rotary positioning equipment

The LabStandardDUO is designed for rotary/tilt applications and combines preloaded thrust and radial roller bearings to provide high rigidity in both axes. Equipped with a self-locking worm gear and a high-precision angle encoder that provides high sensitivity, fine positioning and high load capacities, the LabStandardDUO is specifically designed for metrology, precision machining and precision testing applications.

The LabStandardDUO's features set new standards for precision, flexibility and performance in a wide range of calibration and testing applications.

Automatic sequencing
The Axia nc programmable controller allows the operator to accurately and efficiently sequence and execute repetitive operations using the integrated step and repeat programming function.

Process Reference Standard
Sub-arcsecond angular accuracy combined with sub-micron circular geometry reduces process measurement inaccuracies to a level where the LabStandardDUO can be considered your measurement reference standard.

Vertical and horizontal axis
The design of the LabStandardDUO allows for horizontal or vertical axis operation with no noticeable change in performance.

Compatible with other instruments
The LabStandardDUO's compatibility allows it to be easily integrated into a wide range of measurement applications.

Transducer
A high-precision encoder with positioning accuracies of 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 arc seconds is mounted directly on the rotary axis.

Pneumatic Clamping
A fail-safe, compact and powerful clamping system is available as an option. This is controlled via the Axia nc controller.

The rack mounted 19? high performance motion controller is specifically designed to complement RPI's range of high precision rotary axes. The controller is flexible, provides rigidity, allows angular positioning and also offers the following features:
