Magnetic telescopic pick-ups and grippersMany workplaces involve working with small metal parts. Screws, nails or nuts are just some of the examples of metal objects used in workshops and similar areas. These have a habit of falling down, getting stuck in small crevices or spreading out in other ways. Picking up these parts by hand is exhausting and time-consuming. Pick-ups and grippers with magnetic tips provide a remedy here. However, these multifunctional helpers are not only useful for creating order. Often screws, nuts and other metal parts have to be positioned in hard-to-reach places. This is the case in furniture construction, for example. With the help of such a magnetic pick-up, metal parts can be inserted and positioned. The applications for these compact helpers are therefore very versatile.
Multifunctional telescopic transducers - useful helpersWith the Transducers with telescopic function both the head and the end are magnetic. The slim helpers are hardly thicker than a pencil and can therefore also be used in confined areas. The telescopic function is also practical here. In the retracted position, the transducers have a length of 172 mm. If required, this can be extended steplessly up to 568 mm.
Another useful function is the integrated flashlight, which can be found on various transducers. This makes it possible to work precisely in dark areas, for example in recesses where a screw is to be placed or when collecting small metal parts from cracks. Some models also have a rotating tip. This allows the magnet to rotate 360 degrees and metal parts can be collected even in extremely inaccessible places.
All telescopic pick-ups are robust and durable. They are made of high-quality materials such as stainless steel, brass or chrome. The magnets at the tip have a diameter of six mm. They provide a magnetic force of 0.45 kgf. This allows even heavier metal parts with a dead weight of 300 grams or more to be attracted without any problems.
Flexible grippers for metallic componentsIn contrast to the transducers, the grippers have a flexible spring rod. This has a rod length of 625 mm and is made of stainless steel. The spring rod can be bent freely in all directions, so that metal parts can be targeted and gripped in inaccessible places.
Also these flexible grippers have an integrated led illumination at the tip. The small led enables a particularly compact design with simultaneously bright luminosity and long battery life. Small button cells of type tr 44 are used as batteries, so that the gripper remains handy and light. The complete tool including batteries weighs barely 500 grams.
