The Micro Compression Spring Machine sf-1 is the result of our development of a machine that can produce the smallest springs in the world!


MEC's smallest spring coiling machine has been enlarged and modernized

  • The feed roll diameter is now 16mm and the last wire guide has a length of 6mm
  • The machine has 4 axes as standard: infeed, knife, pitch and diameter
  • As an option, the winding finger or the mandrel can be moved forward or backward with an additional axis
  • The mechanics have been further optimized to improve the setting of the smallest wire diameters
  • Equipped as standard with a high-precision sensor to achieve the special specifications of the smallest wires.


Winding mechanism

  • The blade and winding finger have been strengthened for greater stability and accuracy
  • The tool layout has been improved to simplify the alignment of the feed roller and wire guide. In addition, the newly developed tool block of pitch and mandrel simplifies the adjustment for wire guiding. The tool block can be adjusted to the left, right, front or back together.
