Description


The new tension spring machine cls-16ii enables a tension spring production from 0.50mm to 1.60mm wire diameter. Thanks to the 11 axes, the setup for German, English and hook eyes is considerably shortened and simplified.
Thanks to the mps (mec Program System), the tension spring machine can be programmed in a user-friendly and clear manner. The measuring and control functions are already integrated in the program.

11-axes as standard

  • The machine is controlled with 11 axes as standard: Infeed, winding finger, pretension, torsion, outside diameter, transfer, tongs, 2x eyelet bending heads and 2x slides for the eyelet bending heads

High speed production

  • Very high production speeds are achieved by simultaneous winding, transferring and eyelet bending.

4 feed rollers

  • With 4 feed rollers we reduce the load on the wire and guarantee a fast winding.

Winding finger

  • The outer diameter can be controlled by its own axis and does not have to be adjusted with the camshaft anymore. By scanning, the diameter can be adjusted automatically. In addition, the winding finger can perform 3d bends to the front to allow very long hook eye lengths. The same servo motor is used to control the pretension.

Knife

  • The knife has a changeable stroke length for German or hook eyes

Transfer

  • The transfer and the opening and closing of the tongs can now be controlled by the program. By controlling them separately, the production output can be increased while the set-up time is reduced.
  • The entire transfer can be shifted to the sides. This eliminates the need to set up the individual tongs.

Eyelet bending head

  • Both eyelets are bent at the same time in one place. Therefore there are no errors in de-positioning.
  • 6 eyelet bending tools are now responsible for bending the eyelets. 3 support tools (pawls), 1x Base, 1x Squeeze and 1x Hooking tool.
  • The additional tools make the spring body more stable and the eyelet more precise.

Program

  • All axes are on one screen. Program flow, status of each axis, input and output, etc. can be seen at a glance
  • The basic program is automatically created by inputting the spring values.
  • The tension spring machine has a touch panel

Control

  • The end of the coil is trimmed and the outer diameter is checked. Afterwards the outside diameter can be corrected automatically.
  • Optionally, 2 cameras can be used to check the eyelets for length, diameter, straightness, opening, etc.
